Why should you invest in a mummy & me session?

As a mother it is usually us capturing images of all those special memories of our children and snapping shots of them with loved ones, but who is capturing those images of YOU with your children? Capturing these moments through photographs can create lasting memories and serve as a reminder of the special bond between mother and baby.

The Session

Prior to your session, you will receive a brief questionnaire via email. This questionnaire provides you with an opportunity to share your vision, expectations, and any specific requests you may have for the session. Your input is valuable in ensuring that the session aligns with your desires.

Dependent on child's age I find that for under 1's stripped down to nappy with a studio wrap draped to cover the nappy area gives such a timeless look! For mums you may have full reign of my studio wardrobe should you wish, and I also have a few dress options for girls. For boys of any age I would recommend jeans and either a nice lain top/shirt or topless. Ultimately it is your session time and you can wear whatever makes you feel comfortable or empowered.

Overall, a mummy & me session is an enjoyable experience that allows you to create lasting memories and capture beautiful images that will hold a special place in your heart for years to come.

After The Session

After the session, we will book an appointment for your viewing session in a couple weeks time so that you can come back into the studio to view your gallery. I’ll make you a cuppa and you can sit and view your gallery as a beautiful slideshow on the tv. We can talk about which images are your favourites and decide what package you’d like to go for and if there’s any prints or wall art you’d like, to be able to display the images in your home .

Breastfeeding

If you are currently breastfeeding then we can absolutely capture some feeding images during your session!

Breastfeeding is such an intimate and nurturing moment between a mother and her child. Capturing these moments through photographs can create lasting memories and serve as a reminder of the special bond between mother and baby. I know as well as anyone just how difficult breastfeeding can be. It is demanding and draining but we do it anyway in order to give our child nourishment and comfort, and how amazing is that?

Don't let all that hard work be forgotten, you will look back on these images in awe of what an incredible journey you embarked on. Whether you have been breastfeeding for one month or four years, every journey is incredibly special no matter how short or long. During the session, I want you to feel comfortable at all times, it is such an intimate moment and I will always make sure you are comfortable with the images I'm taking. If you want more discreet angles, this is fine, if you want more skin or nude images this is also fine.
