Why should you invest in a Maternity session?
Pregnancy is so amazing, isn't it. I mean, don't get me wrong it isn't easy, but your body is growing an actual human. How crazy is that!? Maternity sessions are the perfect opportunity to capture breath-taking images of the journey you've been through. I can't wait to create cherished memories for you that you can treasure for years to come.
When to book?
I recommend booking your maternity session after your 12-week scan. The ideal timeframe for your session to take place is between 30-34 weeks of pregnancy. You can book before or after this if you would prefer, but before 30 weeks your bump may be a little too small and after 34 weeks your likely getting to the 'fed up' stage and won't be feeling like your best self. By scheduling between 30-34 weeks, we can capture the most beautiful images while making sure you feel absolutely amazing during the session.
Once you have booked your session you will receive a questionnaire via email. This gives you the opportunity to let me know exactly what you want from your session and it also provides you with information on how to best prepare beforehand.
During The Session
During the session, you'll have complete access to the studio dresses, but you're also welcome to bring along your own clothes and accessories too. One of the most frequently asked questions is whether partners and children can join the session, and the answer is 1000% "Yes!" In fact, I encourage it wholeheartedly. This journey is special for all of you, and capturing timeless images of everyone involved is a beautiful way to remember this precious time. Typically, partners and children participate in a few images, while the majority of the session focuses on celebrating mum and her beautiful bump. However, I customize each session to meet your own preferences.
After The Session
After the session, we will book an appointment for your viewing session in a couple weeks time so that you can come back into the studio to view your gallery. I’ll make you a cuppa and you can sit and view your gallery as a beautiful slideshow on the tv. We can talk about which images are your favourites and decide what package you’d like to go for and if there’s any prints or wall art you’d like, to be able to display the images in your home .

When should I book the session?
You can book anytime after your 12 week scan! The best time to book for is between 30-34 weeks.
Do we need to bring anything?
I ask you to bring nude underwear with you, and also black and white if you have those too.
I always start the session with some simplistic images in your own clothes so something tight fit round bump is best.
Will my images be shared on social media?
Only if you want them to be! I love sharing my work on my socials, but I will only ever share images if I’m given permission to do so. I 100% respect those that want to keep their gallery totally private. It’s also perfectly okay to want some to be shared but others not. I respect your choices, whatever they may be.
If you are happy for your images to be shared on social media, you will have a sneak peek posted within a few days of your session and have the opportunity to win it as a free print based on the amount of reactions it receives!
What should we do in preparation of the session?
You need to arrive with your hair and make up done.
If you want to get your nails done then do so, I wont be editing any chipped nail varnish ect.
The same goes for body hair, if you don't want it in the images be sure to shave/wax ahead of the session.
when you come to the studio, try and wear something loose. anything tight fit will leave marks on your skin that we don't want in your images.
I am plus size, will your dresses fit me?
Yes! There are a wide variety of different sized dresses in the studio.
Do I have to pay a booking fee?
Yes, I require a £75 booking fee to secure your booking. This comes off your total and the remaining balance doesn't need to be paid until the day of your session.
