Why should you invest in a Birthday session?

Birthdays mark an incredibly special milestone in your child's life, and what better way to celebrate than witnessing their pure joy as they explore new tastes and textures during a delightful cake smash session? The outcome is an abundance of cuteness and fun that will make your heart melt.

If you prefer not to have a cake smash but still want to capture the essence of your little one's birthday, the classic package is tailored just for you. You can still choose a theme or style that resonates with you and your child, but without the mess involved. Instead, we focus on creating timeless images that beautifully encapsulate this significant moment in their life. These images will serve as cherished memories of their special birthday that you can treasure forever.

Before The Session

Once you've booked your session, you'll receive a questionnaire via email, providing you with the perfect opportunity to share all your ideas for the shoot. Let me know your preferred colours, styling, themes, and more. Your input will help me tailor the session to your vision.

On the day of the session, it's important to ensure that our little model stays asleep as much as possible beforehand and arrives well-rested. This will help us capture those beautiful and happy images we all love.

To ensure our main star is as content as possible, please feel free to feed them if they're hungry. However, if they're coming for a cake smash session, it's best not to insist on a full meal, as they will have a delicious cake to indulge in during the session.

The cake is included in your package so you don't need to worry about that! It doesn't even have to be a traditional cake; cookies, donuts, or any other treat your child loves can work just as well. If you would like something other than cake, please inform me in advance so that I can plan the session accordingly.

If your little one will be enjoying a "splash" at the end of their session, remember to bring a towel to dry them afterwards.

Overall, make sure your baby is well-rested, feeling well, and slightly peckish. Then, it's time to let them dig right in and capture those precious moments!

During The Session

These sessions consist of three stages, and you have the flexibility to choose one, two, or all parts: Milestone images, Cake smash, and Splash images.

Regardless of the package chosen, all three sessions will begin with capturing milestone images. This allows us to document their adorable essence as they are, creating cherished memories from their special birthday.

For those who opt for a cake smash package, after capturing a few images of them in their pristine state, we introduce the cake and let them indulge in any way they please. Witnessing their sheer joy as they make a delicious mess with the icing is truly priceless!

The final part of the session, if selected, is the "splash" part. Your little one will have the opportunity to sit in a small bath or bucket (whichever best matches the set) and enjoy a playful splash before the session concludes. The added bonus is that they can wash off the cake residue and leave the session as clean as they arrived, while we capture more adorable images in the process. Just remember to bring along a towel to keep them comfortable during the splash session.

You will receive your finished images via online gallery within 3 weeks.
